As the West struggles to maintain an appetite for true hand-embroiderered luxury, instead succumbing to machine pseudo-luxury and poly-mix fabrics, it is the craftsmen in Pakistan and India that uphold the region’s commitment to true luxury: haath ka kaam, “work of the hand.”
