Labor Rights Commitment

Crafstman make up the backbone of the Pakistani and Indian fashion industries. They are the keepers of culture, art, and history. Many belong to a lineage of artisans, carrying on an ancestral tradition, and providing the foundation for the fashion industry as we know it today. As the West struggles to maintain an appetite for true hand-embroiderered luxury, instead succumbing to machine pseudo-luxury and poly-mix fabrics, it is the craftsmen in Pakistan and India that uphold the region’s commitment to true luxury: haath ka kaam, “work of the hand.”

With that in mind, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of labor rights across all facets of our operations, including our manufacturing processes in Pakistan. We recognize the importance of fair and ethical treatment of workers, and we adhere to national and local labor regulations.

Our commitment to ensuring safe working conditions, fair wages, and respect for human rights extends throughout our supply chain. We work closely with our ateliers in Pakistan to guarantee that all workers are treated with dignity and provided a safe and supportive working environment. We believe that by prioritizing the well-being and rights of our workers, we contribute positively to both their lives and the sustainable development of the communities in which we operate.

As we continue to grow and innovate, our pledge remains firm: to uphold ethical standards and promote social responsibility in every aspect of our business. Without kaarigars, we are nothing.
