The Aleena Set

The Aleena Dress is a luminous study in powder blue, cut in a sleek, body-skimming column silhouette with a softly scoop neckline and delicate cap sleeves, complimented with an embroidered stole. Layers of net tulle and light blue silk georgette are set over a nude silk georgette lining, creating an ethereal translucency while allowing the intricate hand embroidery to appear suspended across the body. Rows of shimmering glass beadwork, crystals, and delicate blue motifs are arranged over 430 hours in rhythmic bands from neckline to hem, catching the light with every movement. Beneath the surface, a silk georgette bustier corset provides discreet structure and support without disturbing the gown’s fluid line. The look is completed with a coordinating embroidered net-tulle stole, lined in blue silk georgette—a deeply personal dress that balances intricate craftsmanship with a cool, understated elegance. This dressed is named after my first best friend at UVA and rendered in her favorite color.
